The FTC did their bit and now its googles turn to crack down on the Home Business Industry.
Google is always looking out for spam in all its different flavors and now they are also looking to eradicate the illegitimate business opportunities from their system.
More and more people are turning to the online business industry to make money everyday and these numbers are growing at an exponential rate.
Now the FTC has put pressure on google to do some house cleaning and weed out anything that looks over hyped, boasting inflated unsubstantiated claims and looks like a traditional business opportunity ad. They are also looking to eliminate self replicated websites and affiliate programs. If google happens to declare you as a business opportunity, there is potential for your account to be suspended, if you try to market the same product again you might end up blacklisted indefinitely.
So what does this mean for the home business industry?
More and more home business entrepreneurs are going to be getting their Adwords Accounts slapped and there will be a lot of websites blacklisted.
The networkers are going to be weeded out along with the inexperienced and weak would be entrepreneurs.
Adwords will increase its favour with the intelligent, experienced marketers, because they have the ability to adapt and overcome conveying their massage effectively, without all the BS like “Make $5K per week. Join Now”
When we advertise with google there are rules and laws that we must comply with. Google makes the rules and the FTC makes the laws. Google has to comply with the laws and we have to comply with the rules.
The FTC will hold google accountable if there are any violations of these laws.
This means operating an adwords campaign is going to require a real touch of expertise not just in understanding how to use it, but knowing how to market using good compelling copy, not just vomiting out over the top unsubstantiated hyped up BS.
To sum it up: Adwords has just become a huge pain in the R-Send for a lot of future up coming and current would be marketers.
Now would be the time to get educate yourself in what has arguably just become the 2 most important marketing strategies you need to learn without hesitation.
